The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is comprised of over 35,000 volunteers  dedicated to safer recreational boating on the waters of the United States. These individuals undergo special training so that they are able to assist and augment the United States Coast Guard in its non-military, non-law enforcement programs of: boating education, safety patrols, search and rescue, and aids to navigation.

Flotilla 5-25 welcomes new members and provides the necessary training which opens a world of opportunities to boating enthusiasts. To join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary you must be 17 years of age or older and a United States Citizen. Ownership of a boat, a radio station, or an aircraft is desirable but not mandatory. There are other requirements but they are not extraordinary. Check out our Join the Auxiliary page for more information
